Steven began his investment industry career in 1993 and joined Stifel in 2019.  Prior to joining Stifel, Steven worked at Prudential Securities, Wachovia, and Wells Fargo.  Throughout his career, he has followed a three-step ongoing investment process, determining, developing, and periodically reviewing with clients.  Steven enjoys what he does and helping his clients through guidance, honesty, and trust. 

Steven earned a B.S. from the University of Michigan and holds Series 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses, as well as life, health, and variable insurance licenses (including annuities).  Outside of the office, Steve enjoys playing racquetball, hiking, flying, and spending time with his family.  He is also a board member of his condo association and a coach for his son’s baseball team.

Karen began working in the investment industry in 1986 and joined Stifel in 2019.  She provides personalized financial strategies tailored to her clients’ unique needs, aiming to pursue financial success.  With a focus on education, she empowers each client with confidence and knowledge to navigate fluctuating markets and evolving economies. Utilizing advanced wealth planning analyses, Karen assesses clients’ probabilities of success and then recommends strategic steps intended to help ensure they are on track to their financial well-being.  She ensures that each plan is carefully crafted by integrating asset allocation principles based on individual risk assessments.  Karen holds Series 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses.   

Outside of work, Karen and her husband, Larry, remain dedicated to their family, encouraging occasional family vacations and celebrations together.  In addition, she loves to power walk, read, tinker with her guitar, and collect fascinating and unique rocks while camping.

Lynn began her investment industry career in 1996 and joined Stifel in 2012.  She believes that managing wealth over a lifetime is a dynamic process; it requires critical attention to details and conscientious oversight.  With Stifel’s open architecture platform, it helps enable collaborative oversight.  Lynn leverages internal and external strategic partners to develop an intensely personalized investment strategy.  Lynn is proud to offer financial, retirement, and wealth transfer strategies.

Lynn earned a B.S. in Marketing and Sales from Ferris State University and holds Series 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses, as well as life, health, and variable insure licenses (including annuities).  Outside of the office, she is a part of the Lansing Community College Foundation and a member on the Finance Committee.

Andrea Fischer

Registered Client Service Associate

Andrea began her financial services career in 2007 and joined Stifel in 2008.  Prior to joining Stifel, she worked as a cashier and wire operator, before becoming an assistant.  Andrea delivers a high level of communication through proactive contact with their clients and handles all administrative needs. 

Andrea holds Series 7 and 63 securities licenses.  Outside of the office, she is a Girl Scout leader for her daughter’s Brownie troop.

Registered Client Service Associate

Kathleen began her financial services career in 1983 and joined Stifel in 2022. As a Registered Client Service Associate, Kathleen supports the Okemos branch with the day-to-day office responsibilities. She assists the branch with administrative duties and provides quality customer service to their clients. Kathleen holds Series 7 and 63 securities licenses.
